MEET THE TEAM

Alex Rodriguez | Owner

Alex, founder of NGRC, has been involved in the runnning community here in Forsyth County for over 10 years. He has a passion for the running community as a whole and wants to help in any way he can to further your goals!

Stephanie walker | Co-Owner

Stephanie, better known as "Fe", is a life-long resident of Cumming, GA. She has been running for the past seven years. Stephanie prefers the trails to the roads but still puts in lots of training miles on the roads of Cumming and the Forsyth County Greenway. Her absolute favorite place to run and commune with nature is Sawnee Mountain. She has completed many running events, including the Chicago Marathon, three Ultra's to include Cruel Jewel 50miler. Stephanie enjoys being a part of the NGRC Tribe and is always one of the first to welcome new members and is a great support to participants in our Beginner Runner Training Programs. Stephanie is a mom to three grown sons who all serve in the US Military (Army, Air Force and Marines). She is lucky to be called MeMe Fe by her beautiful granddaughter, Charlotte (Charlie).

Bill O'Connor | Running enthusiast

Bill grew up in Boston, Massachusetts retiring in 2016 he moved to Cumming, Georgia from St. Albans, Vermont. Bill is a passionate runner and just loves marathon training and racing. Bill says "I've never had so many best friends until I took up long distance running!" He has run many marathons including the Vermont City Marathon, Boston Marathon, Toronto Marathon, Mohawk Hudson River Marathon, Baystate Marathon, and the Marine Corp Marathon. Bill was a Wellness Coach for 4 years at the Forsyth County YMCA. You will often see Bill on Forsyth County's Greenway out on a run or at one of our local golf courses. Bill is married to his wife Sue, has 2 step daughters, and 4 grandchildren. Need help finding the right shoe - Bill is always available for Running Shoe advice!!!!

liz debusschere | Sales associate

Liz has worked with NGRC since May of 2019 as a sales associate. She joined one of NGRC's Beginner Running Programs and found a love of running and the friendship of the NGRC community. Liz enjoys being a part of the Races that are put on by NGRC, from packet pickup to watching the runners cross the finish line the excitement of race day is contagious. Liz has a daughter who is enrolled at Georgia Southern and a son who attends Alliance Academy. She and her family have lived in Cumming for over twelve years and they love Georgia for the southern hospitality and the warm weather.

Steven Clark | IT ninja

Steven started running his sophomore year in high school with West Forsyth’s cross country program. He loves the 5k and 10k distances, but he still has goals of running longer distances. Steven's favorite running shoe is the Hoka One One Clifton. "I love the shoe for being light weight and great cushion." You will see Steven running mostly on the Bethelview Greenway, but you might see him on the trails at Haw Creek Park! He loves to follow professional runners and two of his favorites are Tyler Andrews and Fernando Cabada. He recommends looking up their stories. He believes both runners are great examples of consistenty which will lead to great results whether they are big or small! "Hope to see you soon at North Georgia Running Company!"

Stephanie Yoho/Shoe expert

Stephanie is originally from Northwest Ohio were she grew up swimming in lake erie and going to Cedar Point amusement park. Stephanie recently moved to the Cumming area with her husband and fur baby! She has been running for many years in distance running from 5ks to marathons. Her main focus now is to stay happy and healthy. She loves the running community and loves running for the feeling of accomplishment she gets. When Stephanie isn't outside running or enjoying nature, you can find her in the kitchen baking up something sweet!

Myriah amador | Shoe expert

Myriah is an occasional runner and a college student at the University of North Georgia. She has completed numerous 5k races with her mom by her side. Myriah is new to the running game and is learning everything she can about running shoes to ensure that you get the right product for your needs. She has been a member of the NGRC Crew since October of 2020 and enjoys her weekends at your local running store!

rachel collins | Shoe expert

Rachel is an avid marathoner and mother of two handsome boys. Outside of being a teacher at South Forsyth High School, Rachel likes to go to the gym, hike, and enjoys being outdoors. Rachel is always greeting customers with a smile and makes sure every customer finds exactly what they are looking for. Rachel has been a member of the NGRC Crew since March 2021.
